Syringa x josiflexa 'Anna Amhoff'

Lilac

Plant Type:

DECIDUOUS SHRUBS

Syringa x josiflexa ‘Anna Amhoff’ – This is a small mounding form of re-blooming white lilac. I was fortunate to acquire cuttings on a jaunt to the University of Connecticut Storrs campus with Jonathan Lehrer who was doing his graduate work there at the time. This really neat lilac is apparently quite rare in the trade. But we hope to have some available for customers who may be Lilac officianados and have to have one in their collection. Check availability numbers and order early. It will also make a very nice re-blooming filler shrub in the foundation garden, a smaller component in a sunny hedgerow in front of taller residents. Site in full sun planted in fertile soil to which dolomitic limestone has added at the time of planting. Cutting grown.
